AGV 2001 B&B lies at the heart of Rome, just a stone’s throw from Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica, right in between Viale del Vaticano (Vatican Museums entrance) and metro stop, A Line, ‘Cipro’, also hosting several bus terminals, to easily reach the rest of the historic centre. Its location, therefore, is ideal and strategic to move around the city, offering, at the same time, peace and tranquillity.
Both Vatican City Walls and St. Peter’s dome are visible from the street.
And, for those who enjoy a bit of folklore, 100 metres away from the B&B lies the famous Via Andrea Doria Market Place, recently rebuilt, with an underground parking. In its kiosks you will find all sorts of fruit, vegetables, meats, salami’s, wines, cakes and typical Italian and local products, in the modern structure inaugurated in march 2009.
The shopping road starts from Via Candia – the street intersecting Via Mocenigo – follows along Viale Giulio Cesare, Via Ottaviano, Piazza Risorgimento and finally Via Cola di Rienzo.
If the weather is fine – a very likely event in Rome, even in cold months – by a pleasant stroll it is possible to reach Castel Sant’Angelo, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Via Giulia and other interesting sites of the historic centre.
